A NEWPORT activist is embarking on her latest challenge for charity in a bid to face all of her fears in 2013.
Michaella Louise Johnson, 24, a catering assistant of Newport, resolved to face all of her fears this year beginning with a tattoo and ending with a skydive for City Wildlife Care this month.
Mrs Johnson, will take on one of her biggest fears-flying with the skydiving challenge in Swansea on August 17, to raise money for the charity which rescues injured animals.
"In the new year I set myself a resolution for 2013 to face all of my fears.
"I got a tattoo of a ninja turtle on my foot, I ate mushrooms, banned my self from dying my hair and vowed not to worry about what other people think.
"I'm also really afraid of flying so I set myself the challenge of doing a skydive."
The RSPCA volunteer, who owns three cats, two birds, two rats and a dog, decided to skydive for City Wildlife Care, after her grandad encouraged her to look after injured animals as a child.
"I decided to do the skydive for City Wildlife Care as I think its important that people should have a number they can call to held injured animals, as not everyone is going to know what to do in those kinds of situations," Mrs Johnson added.
