A FAMILY fun day will be held on Tuesday, August 27, from 10am to 3pm as part of Bron Afon’s project at Panteg Community Hall in New Inn, by Bron Afon Community Housing.
Bron Afon’s apprentices are fitting the kitchen in the style of TV’s “60 Minute Makeover”.
The day will see the new kitchen donated by Moores, being unveiled and used for the first time.
Visitors can enjoy activities such as crafts for children, a potters wheel and racing cars.
Ian Simpson, Bron Afon’s head of community housing and support, said: “Our community team for New Inn saw this as a chance to get to know local residents.
“The hall needs a kitchen and our apprentices need experience of working in different environments so it’s the perfect match.
“Members of our youth forum will be going to the hall to film the work taking place.
“This will be shared on YouTube to show how projects like this help improve an area.”
