THE winners of the Argus Summer Sweeties competition have been revealed.
Hundreds of votes were received from readers by text, post or phone.
Ethan Thomas, in the 0 to nine months category was crowned the winner.
His family will receive a £100 Sainsbury's voucher and a canvas portrait of the successful picture which earned him 47 votes.
The Argus teamed up with the supermarket chain's Newport store and Picture Perfect Photography, who took pictures of the entrants there in June.
They were put in the paper for readers to choose their favourite.
The competition is one of two the Argus runs for the youngest members of the community each year, the other being over the festive period.
Parents of the Summer Sweeties runners-up- Lacey Pinch, 10-18 months, Faith Smith 19-36 months and Jayden Wodley, 37- 60 months will receive a canvas portrait of their little ones.
An Argus spokeswoman said: "It was lovely to see so many gorgeous babies from across the region and we thank all the parents for participating. Look out for our Christmas competition which we hope will be just as successful."
