A £1.4 million programme of road improvements has continued in Blaenau Gwent over the summer.
It started in March with every single ward in the local authority set to benefit from the work.
Included in the improvements are drainage, footway and carriage works as well as resurfacing, reconstruction and surface treatment.
The areas being worked on include Cwmtillery Industrial Estate, Abertillery, Darby Crescent, Ebbw Vale, Cwm Farm Road, Abertillery, Excelsior Street, Waunllwyd, Attlee Way, Tredegar, Bangor Road, Beaufort and Rassau Road, Ebbw Vale.
Improvements are also taking place on Cwm Road, Aberbeeg, Vivian Street, Abertillery, the A4047 Carmeltown, Ebbw Vale, the junction of Augusta Street, Ebbw Vale, Asda Roundabout, Brynmawr, Tredegar Road, Ebbw Vale, Queen Victoria Street, Tredegar, the B4256 Park Hill to Boundary, Tredegar and the roundabout approach on New Road, Nantyglo.
As well as these schemes, the local authority has two patching teams working on roads.
