TWO NEWPORT youngsters have won the chance to walk out at Cardiff City Stadium with the Wales international team before their FIFA World Cup Qualifying match versus Serbia.
Jake Williams-Long, nine, and Ethan West, eight, will walk out with the likes of Gareth Bale, Ashley Williams and Aaron Ramsey as McDonald’s player escorts on September 10 after entering a national competition via McDonald’s website.
Ethan said: “It will be amazing to walk out onto the pitch with the Wales team.
" I can't wait to meet the players and see the stadium!”
Ian Rush, MBE and McDonald’s Director of Welsh Football, added: “This is a chance for Wales to overtake Serbia and move into third in the group – which would be a great achievement.
"The McDonald’s football programme is about creating opportunities for people to get involved in grassroots football and to give youngsters footballing opportunities they will never forget. Hopefully this will be one of them!”
