UPDATE: 6.03pm
FOUR people have been injured following the two-vehicle crash on the A466 Wye Valley link road near Chepstow.
Two of the people suffered serious injuries in the incident which Gwent police were called to at 4.37pm.
Emergency services including the fire service, ambulance service, air ambulance and police are currently at the scene.
The collision has meant that the Severn Bridge was temporarily closed but has now been reopened.
The A466 between Newhouse and Chepstow will remain closed for some time and diversions have been put in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if they can.
Anyone with any information on the collision is asked to call 101 quoting log 393 06/09/13.

The A466 Wye Valley Link Road is closed northbound between Chepstow and Highbeech Roundabout, because of an accident involving two vehicles. Police directing traffic.
