Rush-hour blaze on M4 in Newport

Traffic is easing after recovery work finishes from the earlier car fire between J24 A48 / A449 (Coldra) and J25 A4042 / B4596 (Caerleon).
UPDATE: 6.14pm
FIREFIGHTERS are warning motorists against possible rush-hour delays after a car caught fire on the M4.
South Wales Fire & Rescue Service attended the car fire between junction 24 at the Coldra and junction 25 Caerleon Road westbound at around 5.30pm.
A fire service spokesman said delays “were likely” as motorists drive home this evening.
