DIED: Jordan Bolt, 22, from the Newport area died after a crash on a roundabout on Balfe Road in Alway
THE MAN who died following a crash on a roundabout in Alway on Sunday has been named as Jordan Bolt from the Newport area.
The 22-year-old driver of the white Audi S3 was pronounced deceased at the scene on Balfe Road.
The 23-yea-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The 21-year-old Newport woman who was a passenger in the car, received minor injuries and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital.
Anyone who was in the area at the time or who was travelling along the road around the time of the collision and saw the car is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 493 15/09/13.
