Police probe after player's jaw fracture in Cefn Fforest match
GWENT Police are investigating an assault where a player suffered a fractured jaw during a rugby match in Cefn Fforest at the weekend.
The assault happened on Sunday 15th September between 3.30pm and 3.45pm at the Bryn Road rugby ground in Cefn Fforest. A 19 year old man from the Tir-y-berth area was injured in the game between Fleur de Lys and Cwmbran youth teams.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 137 17/09/13 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
