THE Charleston Chasers brand of foot tapping, hand clapping, soul stirring, hot swing music promises a very special show at the Borough Theatre, Abergavenny on Friday, September 27, at 7.30pm.
The Charleston Chasers are the most authentic and the most entertaining group performing hot swing music from the roaring twenties and thirties. The band features ten fine musicians and a wealth of vocal talent, all of whom bring to the stage the fun and excitement of the period.
The show is overflowing with toe–tapping hits from the golden age of the musicals, including the happy sounds of Fats Waller, Hoagy Carmichael, George Gershwin, Al Bowlly and Al Jolson.
