A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport after an incident earlier this evening.
At 5.20 police and ambulance services were called to Greenmeadow Road in Liswerry to reports of a youngster who had come of his bike.
Gwent Police road traffic officers are still investigating what happened.
The ambulance service said the boy was bleeding from a head wound when they arrived at the scene and was taken to the Royal Gwent.
A police spokesman told the Argus the boy had non-life threatening injuries.
