THE three men arrested on suspicion of slavery related offences in the St Brides area of Newport on 24 September have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are still searching at Cariad Farm in Peterstone to see whether or not a body is buried at the site.
Detective Superintendent Paul Griffiths said: “I’m grateful to the public for their continued support of this investigation. We have received a number of calls which have been of assistance and I’m again appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact us by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 66 23/09/13.”
Three other men charged in the wake of the investigation into slavery in Gwent are appearing at Cwmbran Magistrates' Court this morning.
Thomas Doran, 36, Daniel Doran, 66, and David Daniel Doran, 42, have been charged with false imprisonment, conspiracy to hold a person in servitude and conspiracy to require a person to perform forced or compulsory labour.
Thomas Doran has also been charged with kidnapping.
