PONTYPOOL RFC has teamed up with its official charity for the 2013/14 season to launch its ‘name a puppy’ programme.
Working with Guide Dogs Cymru, the objective of ‘name a puppy’ programme is to raise £5,000 before the conclusion of this season to enable the breeding and puppy walking of a guide dog puppy.
If £5,000 can be raised, a competition will be launched that will provide Pontypool RFC supporters the chance to decide the name of the guide dog puppy.
To assist with the launch of this initiative, Guide Dogs Cymru will be present at Pontypool RFC’s home fixture against Ebbw Vale RFC this weekend.
