THE tour is called "Beautifully Acoustic" - and Blackheart lived up to the name during their intimate gig at Bryngwyn's Crawley Hall.
"We'll all know each other's names by the end of the night," joked singer, guitarist, songwriter and keyboard player Chrissy Mostyn.
The Lancashire duo have been getting airplay on Radio 2 for their sound which has a pinch of Cocteau Twins, a twist of Kate Bush, and a large helping of the kind of folk favoured by Laura Marling.
Alongside the acoustic guitars came the clever use of synthesisers and some fresh songwriting.
Mostyn's bandmate and fellow songwriter Rick Pilkington brought his skilled guitar playing to the mix - including the use of a bow during some songs.
The Cocteau Twins influence was happily evident in Hey Pluto.
The vagaries of relationships were explored in Wednesday Afternoon and friendship celebrated in 381.
Mostyn's voice has been described as ethereal - but don't imagine that means it lacks strength or the subtle tone which sets it apart from many other voices.
And the pair, devoid of a drum kit, are still wonderfully inventive when it comes to rhythm.
Their new album Songs From A Satellite is available to download now.
