EMPLOYEES at a Cwmbran biscuit factory are celebrating after raising £4,200 for Children in Need.
The money was raised through a combination of fundraising days and volunteering commitments, with events such as a daring sky dive by four brave employees at Swansea Airport, which raised over £800.
Through their combined efforts, Burton’s biscuit Company in Llantarnam was overjoyed to present a cheque for £4,200 to Children in Need ahead of the annual fundraising night this Friday.
Project manager at Burton’s Biscuit Company, Dean Miles, said: “It has been great to watch the team get stuck into all kinds of fundraising events over the past few months and I’m very proud of the team for the effort they have put in.
“Children in Need is a very deserving charity and I am thrilled to present them with this cheque.”
