A SMOOTHIE bar has been launched by pupils in Croesyceiliog in collaboration between neighbouring schools.

Croesyceiliog School and Crownbridge School worked together to set up and run the healthy drinks bar, which opened on November 7.

Situated in Croesyceiliog School’s canteen, it will be operated by pupils from both schools.

The schools report the opening of the smoothie bar went extremely well and was greatly enjoyed by all.

Pupils involved took an active part in the launch, doing everything from preparing ingredients, blending the smoothie flavours and handing out tasters to pupils and staff.

Both schools’ staff are very proud of the pupils’ hard work and professionalism, while the launch is a perfect example of the superb collaboration between the neighbouring schools.
