REPRESENTATIVES from the Japanese Government visited Blaenau Gwent this month to look at regeneration projects in the area.
Members of the Japanese Government visited Blaenau Gwent to look at how regeneration projects such as The Works, a 200 acre regeneration project that was once dominated by over 200 years of steelworks industry, have transformed the community.
The visitors were also shown how projects such as The Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone and Ebbw Fawr Learning Community run.
A Blaenau Gwent spokesman said:“Blaenau Gwent was pleased to host these visits and to showcase our projects.
“ We are extremely proud of what we have achieved in Blaenau Gwent with our partners and we welcome sharing this knowledge across the UK and beyond Europe”.
