NEWPORT Specsavers is celebrating 25 years in business.
The High Street opticians is truly a family affair. Director Jason Williams started in 1991, nephew David Hynam is a lab technician and son Lloyd Williams works in the store.
Other family members include optical assistant Clare Baker and sister Deborah Mellish; optical assistant Sandra Harris and daughter Emily Harris, and retail manager Nicola Hiscocks and brother Michael Hiscocks, a lab technician. The store has six consulting rooms and 45 staff.
Mr Williams said: ‘We are very proud as a team to be celebrating 25 years in business and I am delighted to have been here for 22 of them. We would like to say a huge thank you to our customers. We have remained committed to the city centre, and are looking forward to all the new business developments.”
