A NEWPORT bridal shop has won two awards including best bridal shop in Wales for the third year in a row.

All About Eve Bridalwear shop, on Clytha Park Road, won two awards at the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2013 on November 24, including best shop in Cardiff and East and best bridal shop in Wales.

The family-run shop has previously won a string of awards including Best Bridal Retailer by Perfect Wedding Magazine in 2010.

Vicki Anthony, 38, and her mother Maureen Edwards, 59, co-own the store which also has a sister shop on the High Street in Chepstow.

She said: “In the last three years the shop has grown and grown.

“It’s so special to win because it’s voted by our customers and then a mystery shopper comes in to use your service.

“The girls work incredibly hard and it’s great for them to get some recognition.”

The mother and daughter duo have been running the business since 2007.

Mrs Anthony said: “I just wanted a change in career. I was getting married at the time and I didn’t have a particularly good experience – customer service is so important.

“We are open seven days a week, I never switch off.

“We get such lovely brides. We just want to do our best for them.”
