AN OLD photograph left on the counter of a Newport charity shop is missing an owner.
Patricia Pearson, 70, a volunteer at St Anne’s charity shop in Malpas Road, was left baffled when she found the old photograph last week. Mrs Pearson believes the photograph may have been taken at All Saints Church in Brynglas years ago, but would like to find out exactly where and when it was taken.
She said: “I looked at it and thought, ‘gosh, this is old’. It looks like it was taken at All Saints Church in Brynglas, where I got married, but it could be anywhere. A couple of years ago I found a photograph of a group of men with mugs in a book called Grandma's Recipes and it turned out to be the docks years ago. The men in the photo were over the moon when they recognised it."
