FIRE crews from Abergavenny and Ebbw Vale attended to a car crash on the A465 in Abergavenny this morning.
The crash, close to Abergavenny Fuels Limited, involved three vehicles. Passengers in two vehicles were able to get out of them before fire crews arrived, but a casualty in the third vehicle had to be cut out with hydraulic cutting equipment.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called at 6.50am and left at 7.34am.
And crews from Blackwood, Ebbw Vale and Cefn Forest talked a man down from Chartist Bridge in Blackwood late last night.
They were called at 11.05pm and left at 12.30am this morning.
Two rope rescue units were sent to the bridge, along with one water ladder.
The man is now in police custody.
