A NEWPORT woman is appealing to the public for help, after she reported her husband missing yesterday afternoon.
South Wales Argus worker Ben Caplan was out with friends in Caerleon on Saturday night. CCTV footage shows him in the village just before midnight.
“He was out drinking and nobody’s seen him since. It’s totally out of character,” said Danielle Caplan.
He was wearing dark jeans and a dark t-shirt on the night he was last seen. He is described as 5ft 8in, with shoulder-length brown hair.
He is pictured wearing the clothes he was wearing on the night he disappeared.
Severn Area Rescue Association launched a search from Uskmouth to Caerleon on Sunday evening and a police helicopter was called out.
If anyone has seen Ben or has information that could help they should call Gwent police on 101.
