A WOMAN from Magor will be spending three months volunteering in Nepal.
Tazine Bogue, 22, of Summerleaze, will be part of a team with the youth led charity Restless Development, a government funded charity which aims to empower youth groups to help young people in other countries. Miss Bogue has raised £140 so far and aims to raise £800 for the trip.
She said: “I really love to travel and I really wanted to do something worthwhile. This sounded like the best opportunity to do both.
“I am very excited. It has been all a bit manic as I only applied the week before last. I’m looking forward to experience new culture.”
The team of young volunteers from all over the globe will be leaving for Nepal on January 13 to teach CV workshops and inform students about sexual health in community centres in Jwagal, Lalitpur.
