MORE than 100 scuba divers dressed in Santa costumes will hold a world record-breaking attempt to gather as many ‘Scuba Santa’s for a charity dive near Chepstow.
The annual World Record Scuba Santa’s event, now in its seventh year, takes place at the National Diving and Activity Centre (NDAC) at Tidenham on Sunday.
Organised by Lloyd Watkin, it aims to gather as many Scuba Santas together as possible, to try and break their previous world record of 158 divers dressed as Santa.
Since 2007 the event has raised over £20,000 for the RNLI and will this year also help DDRC Healthcare, a hyperbaric medical facility and specialists in diving health.
A raffle will also be held with prizes that include a dive holiday for six to the Costa Brava in Spain worth £1,800.

The event takes place at 11am on December 15.
