Spaniel stuck in storm drain in Ebbw Vale

A fireservice spokeswoman has confirmed that fire crews left the scene at 5.18pm yesterday after being uable to locate the dog.

Saturday 8th February
CREWS from South Wales Fire and Rescue are currently on their way to rescue a spaniel trapped down a storm drain at Festival Park Shopping Centre in Ebbw Vale.
A South Wales Fire and Rescue spokeswoman told the Argus they received the call at 4.34pm on Saturday afternoon and the Ebbw Vale crew are currently on their way.
She added the owner of the dog, who placed the call, said it was hard to see or hear the dog due to the running water.
