THE River Usk has burst both its banks at Llanfoist, near Abergavenny.

Water is lying feet deep over part of the Castle Meadows and, on the other bank, has flooded the beer garden of the Bridge Inn.

There are also large floods on fields to the south of Abergavenny, near the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road.
