A HOSPICE nurse from Cwmbran gave her husband the perfect Valentine’s Day gift after scooping two Wales v France rugby tickets in the Blaenau Gwent Mayor’s Appeal prize draw.
Tracey Harris is a clinical nurse specialist with the Hospice of the Valleys, based in Tredegar. She said: “My husband Kevin will be really chuffed – he’s a big rugby fan.”
Blaenau Gwent mayor Mostyn Lewis was raffling the tickets to raise money for his two charities, the Hospice of the Valleys and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at Nevill Hall Hospital. A total of £930 was raised towards the appeal.
Cllr Lewis said: “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the raffle and contributed towards my two very worthwhile charities. I hope Tracey has a great time at the game supporting our boys.”
