THE Assembly Member for Islwyn will not seek re-election in 2016.
Gwyn Price says he wants to spend more time with his family and “do other things” after 2016.
Mr Price said: “I can confirm that will not seek re-election to the Assembly in 2016. “The Labour Party have asked all AMs to let them know and last Friday I informed the Labour Group in the Assembly and my [local Labour party] general committee, about my decision.
“It is a privilege and honour to represent the people of Islwyn and I look forward to doing so for the next two years. “The only reason I have made this decision is I want to spend more time with my family, doing other things from 2016 onwards.”
