A CAR rolled over on Malpas Road in Newport tonight and hit three parked cars and a wall.

No one was trapped, said a spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, which received the call at 6.30pm tonight about the crash between the Woodlands roundabout and Bettws lights.

There was damage to the wall and the window of a house, she said. Fire fighters left the scene 15 minutes later.

Traffic Wales is reporting the vehicle travelling northbound crossed the central reservation, and hit vehicles on the other side of the road near to the Harvester Restaurant.

Lane one of two is currently closed.
