ABERCARN Primary School celebrated an eco day last week to mark their second green flag.
Pupils were dressed all in green and took part in a sponsored fun run around the school grounds.
The primary on Chapel of Ease were awarded their second eco flag by recycling, saving energy and making sure that no litter was present at the grounds.
Aimee Brett, nursery teacher and eco co-ordinator, said: “We are all very proud to have been awarded the green flag. The children have spent the last two years making sure lights are turned off to save energy.”
The themed day continued with eco green cakes and the pupils made eco models and pictures using eco friendly material.
