A MAN has been rescued from the roof of a three-storey commercial building in Pill, Newport, this evening.
Fire fighters from Maindee helped him to get down using a hydraulic platform shortly after 6.15pm.
A spokesman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the man had been stuck and unable to get down.
Gwent Police also attended, he said.
Fire fighters left the scene at 6.39pm.
The duty inspector at Gwent Police said tonight that the man had taken a wrong turn up some stairs and got stuck on the roof.
