AN OVERTURNED car closed the A4042 at Goytre in both directions this morning.
The incident occurred around 7.15am, on Usk Road in Penperlleni/ Goytre, near the School Lane junction.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene but said no-one was trapped inside the only vehicle involved.
Police also attended, as did the ambulance service.
A spokeswoman said: “No-one was conveyed to hospital”.
Reports suggest the incident has now been cleared.
