A FIRE broke out on the roof of a three storey building in Stow Hill, Newport, today.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at 1.50pm after a fire was accidentally started in the roof covering of the property.
No-one was injured and crews from Malpas and Maindee used one hose to put out the fire before leaving the scene at 2.53pm.
