Man 'stable' after being hit by train in Cwmbran
A MAN remains in a stable conditon after being hit by a train near Cwmbran railway station on Saturday night.
The 36-year-old was treated at the scene for injuries by paramedics and then taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, a spokesman for British Transport Police said.
He said police were called at 11.59pm and is the incident is being treated as "non-suspicious".
British Transport Police attended along with Gwent Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and South Wales Fire & Rescue Service.
