CHILDREN’s comic double act Dick and Dom met pupils at a Monmouthshire primary school on Tuesday.
The much-loved duo, well-known for their appearances on CBBC television shows, visited Magor Church in Wales Primary to celebrate the launch of their new book, called Dick and Dom’s Big Fat and Very Silly Joke Book.
Dick and Dom found fame in the ‘90s on Dick and Dom in da Bungalow. Since then, they have appeared on shows across TV and radio.
Their latest book features more than 500 gags, japes, jokes and puns as well as silly poems and Boredom Busters.
Acting deputy head Laura Welsh said: “They played a series of funny games with the children such as ‘Don’t laugh or you’ll lose’ and sang My Bogies lie over the Ocean.
“The children had a great time, enjoying excerpts from their previous book, Dick and Dom’s Slightly Naughty But Very Silly Words.”
After the event, Dick and Dom signed copies of their books and had photos taken with both staff and pupils.
