A NEWPORT woman has become a great-great grandmother for the second time.
Noah was born via emergency caesarean section on February 11 to Danielle Kerr, 21, and Jake Purnell, weighing 8lb 2oz at The Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
After being treated for an infection in intensive care, he met his great-great grandmother, Aileen Nash, 86, at seven days old.
Noah also has a great-grandmother Carol, 63, and grandmother, Helen, 41.
Helen said: “We all love the fact the Aileen is able to meet her great-great grandchild. As he had been ill after being born, everyone had been worried, so it made introducing him to his great-great grandmother all the more special.”
This is the second time the family have welcomed a fifth generation of their family into the world.
Ms Nash has a three-year-old great-great grandson, Riley, born to Keiligh, 24, who is the daughter of her son Michael, 44.
