WERE you one of the flag-waving Gwent residents who lined the streets of Abertillery on Monday to welcome the Earl of Wessex as he toured the area?
Your Argus was there to capture the day in all its glory and you can buy photos from the day by visiting the photo sales section of our website.
Prince Edward visited Saint Michael's Church in the centre of Abertillery on Monday before opening Diamond Jubilee Square and unveiling a plaque. He also visited Monmouth School, which is celebrating its 400th anniversary, by opening a new state-of-the-art teaching block, named after its founding father William Jones.
