A CHEPSTOW Pub has become a classroom for the community.
The Coach and Horses on Welsh Street, hosts numerous community groups in the pub.
One of which is the Pub Hub, at which several different languages are taught.
Classes available include French, German and Spanish.
The pub hosted a Spanish Tapas night for the community which attracted 80 people including members of Transition Chepstow, Chepstow Steam Punks and the Spanish and German groups.
Pub landlord Ian Meyrick, 60, said: “It was excellent, the whole place was packed.
“The pub is very much a community centre in a way.
“Different groups approached us and said that other premises in Chepstow were charging a lot of money to use the space.
“We just want to help support and keep the local groups alive.”
Other classes which the Pub Hub offer include creative writing and IT classes.
The Pub Hub are currently looking for Spanish tutors, to aid with language class.
