MONMOUTH Comprehensive School pupils who will be undertaking charity work on a trip to Bolivia this summer are seeking fundraising help.
The group of 18 sixth formers, who will be accompanied by History teacher Hannah Feldon and PE teacher James Murphy, will fly to South America in July as part of an expedition organised by World Challenge.
But they need help to raise the £3,500 they each need to pay for the trip.
They are all undertaking their own fundraising and one pupil, Steph Davies, will be undertaking a 100-mile charity cycle ride as well as using some of her wages from her part-time job.
Although the pupils will be helping on charity projects exactly what they will be doing is uncertain.
World Challenge only confirms what will need to be done nearer the time and direct volunteers to the most pressing projects at the time they are there.
But the group knows they will be flying into La Paz before undergoing an acclimatisation check. They will also visit the city of Uyuni.
