FATHER’S Day is just around the corner, so this week’s column is a gift guide for every kind of dad, with a particular emphasis on the booze - probably as myself and Pappa Bakes have a shared love of a good tipple.
Every dad is different, but hopefully you’ll find something for yours here. And don’t forget to give him a big hug on Sunday – after all, he didn’t do too badly with you did he?
For cultured dad, why not get him the Kindle Fire HDx, from £199, to read his favourite books and watch his favourite art house films on? The exclusive HDX display brings together unsurpassed pixel density (339 ppi), perfect colour accuracy, reduced glare and improved brightness for a superior viewing experience. It has perfect-colour HDX display, plus a powerful quad-core processor for fast, fluid. It also boasts 100 per cent HD display with over two million pixels - I'm not entirely sure what that means but it certainly sounds impressive.
Best of all, it offers Kindle FreeTime for individual profiles and, most importantly, time limits for kids – so they can’t even steal it from him.
