STAFF at a Newport based automotive business will be taking part in a skydive to raise money for the children’s hospice, Ty Hafan.
The brave employees doing the dive from Fast Parts Wales are Abercarn sales manager Steve Jones, shop floor manager Robert Thomas, parts advisor Marcus Williams, and staff member Daniel Morris.
The Fast Parts general manager, Nathan Travis, said: “This is a remarkable attempt by Fast Parts staff to raise awareness of Ty Hafan. Fast Parts and staff are always exploring new avenues to raise funds for this great cause.
“Steve, Robert, Marcus and Daniel will need as much support as possible.”
So far the group have raised £740 for the charity, which offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the whole family.
The dive takes place on August 24 at Skydive Swansea.
One of the company’s charity initiatives is that it donates £10 to Ty Hafan for every person that attends a training session at its new technical training centre in Abercarn.
