GWENT food artist Nathan Wyburn's latest artwork included a royal portrait of Prince Harry using ginger nuts.
The 24-year-old from Ebbw Vale has been busier than ever ahead of the release of his first book, creating six portraits across three locations in just a week.
Mr Wyburn travelled to London on Tuesday where he was commissioned by Belazu/Fresh Olive Company to create four portraits of England footballers.
“I spent Tuesday and Wednesday last week in London, as I was commissioned by Belazu/Fresh Olive Company to create the portraits using ingredients such as sun-dried tomatoes, lemons and tomato paste. The idea was to create hype around the World Cup.”
The artist created the four portraits of England stars Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge, each taking three to four hours.
Following this, Mr Wyburn travelled to Windsor where he was commissioned by restaurant The Real Greek, to create a celebratory birthday portrait of the queen using their ingredients.
“The portrait of the Queen ties in with her birthday coming up this year,” he said. “It took me five to six hours as it was a bit more detailed than the football stars and I used feta cheese for the crown and with a pitta bread base and olives and Greek yoghurt.
“Finally I created a portrait of Prince Harry using ginger nut biscuits in Manchester on the Saturday at Redhead Day UK.
“I went there with my fellow ginger – BBC weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans, and created the portrait in two hours at the side of the stage.
“The Queen was my favourite portrait, but the crowds loved Prince Harry's. It wasn’t very detailed until the very end when the crumbs came off.”
The artist said he plans to include his portrait of the queen in his book produced by Candy Jar publishing.
The book will is set to be partly autobiographical, will be released in October.
His work will also feature in an exhibition at the Gate in Cardiff hosted by BBC weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans in September.
Lauren Harries of Celebrity BB fame will put on the event featuring some of her artwork, and a portrait the artist will create of her.
