FOUR people have been charged following an incident in Brynmawr which left three police offices injured.
The incident took place in Market Square at about 1am on Monday after officers were called to a report of an attempted robbery.
A 28-year-old man from Ebbw Vale, a 24-year-old man from Brynmawr, a 24-year-old woman from Nantyglo and 26-year-old woman from Brynmawr have been charged with affray.
The three officers, two women and one man, were taken to Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny for treatment and have since been released.
They will be appearing at Newport Magistrates' Court today.
A further man, a 31-year-old from Brynmawr, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
