THE global jewellery company, Pandora, are celebrating a “positive” and “busy” first week in their new store in Newport city centre.

The company, best known for its charm bracelets, opened a new concept store on Commercial Street last Saturday.

Store manager of Pandora Newport, Jeanette Dyer, said: “It has been a positive first week of trade, the store has been incredibly busy and very well received by the local community.”

Pandora fans no longer have to travel to Cardiff for the newest charms, as the Newport store showcases the brand’s latest summer range as well as its classic collection.

Commenting on the new shop, Dan Shaw, vice president of retail for Pandora, said “We [were] thrilled to announce the opening of our new store in Newport. As a Danish brand aimed at women of all ages, the new store embodies a Scandinavian, feminine design and acts as the perfect setting for our beautiful hand-finished jewellery.”

On Saturday, June 28, the store will be holding its official launch celebration as it is transformed into an enchanting butterfly getaway.

All customers who make a purchase over £75 on the day will be in with a chance of winning a jewellery gift. They will also have the chance to enter into a prize draw to win a bracelet worth £99 by sharing their unforgettable moment.
