OLYMPIC gold medallist Darren Campbell joined a national sports celebration as the country gears up for the Commonwealth Games next month.
The British sprinter, who won a gold medal in the four by 100m relay in Athens in 2004, showed pupils his medals at Llantarnam School on Friday.
Campbell, 40, helped children from Llantarnam Comprehensive and primary schools mark National School Sport Week.
Sport Wales said the event was an opportunity to show their support for Team Wales at the Glasgow Games.
