AROUND 120 toddlers enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic at Usk Castle.
The event, held as part of the annual Usk Festival for the third year, saw the children, aged between one and five years old, take part in a teddy bear hunt around the grounds of the castle on Wednesday.
The youngsters brought their teddies along and had the chance to send them on a tandem parachute jump with an expert teddy bear off the castle’s North Tower.
All the children, along with parents and grandparents also enjoyed a picnic and many other activities.
Organiser, Meirion Howells said: “The children absolutely adored it and it was nice to see so many take part.”
She added: “The weather could not have been better and it was a wonderful day.”
