IT'S always good to end the week with some positivity - and what better way of doing that than pointing our readers in the direction of Newport's very own 'Happy' video.
We defy anyone watching the video - filmed during the city's Big Splash festival - not to be smiling by the end of it.
The short film features features local people dancing and singing along to the Pharrell Williams' number one hit, in the style of the song's original video.
And it shows that, despite the fact that we all like a good moan from time to time, give us some sun on our backs and some music to enjoy and we are a happy bunch.
The video should also remind us all that there is plenty of positivity out there.
There are good things happening in towns and villages across Gwent.
Abergavenny has just hosted a hugely-successful cycling festival that attracted Olympians Sir Bradley Wiggins and Laura Trott.
In Pontypool, the town's market is about to re-open with high hopes for the future after a major refurbishment.
The regeneration of Newport continues apace with Friars Walk taking shape as part of £250m of work taking place in the city right now.
And in almost every community across the area, there are groups and individuals giving up their free time to make life better for their fellow citizens.
Sometimes we just need reminding that it is not all doom and gloom.
Watch the video. Be happy.
