THE Celtic Manor have revealed how their planned Wales International Convention Centre will look.
The conference centre, designed to hold 4,000 delegates, was given the green light by Newport council last week.
It will be the largest facility of its kind in Wales and the south west of England.
The centre is planned to extend over 20,000 square metres, with the main auditorium holding 1,300 delegates. This is planned to be a flexible area which can be divided into smaller spaces.
A separate 4,000 square metre main exhibition hall will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
A further 15 meeting rooms will cater for different sizes and types of meetings and events, complementing the existing convention centre facilities at Celtic Manor.
The new conference centre will also have audio visual facilities, green rooms and production offices, and a multi-storey car park with 1,500 spaces.
