TRAFFIC was delayed in Cwmbran after a three-vehicle crash this morning.
Fire crews and paramedics attended to the collision on the A4042 roundabout at the junction of the Crown Roundabout with Llanyravon Way.
The A4042 is partially currently closed northbound while investigators are at the scene.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said a silver Vauxhall, a red Mazda and a grey Citroen C4 had been involved in the crash.
A man travelling in the Citroen has been taken to University Hospital Wales for treatment, while a woman in the Vauxhall has been taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital as a precaution.
The South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended, with a crew from Malpas and another from Cwmbran. They were called to the roundabout at 9.43am and left at 10.53am, a spokeswoman said.
Grant Fowler, from Cwmbran, drove past the roundabout at about 10am and said a car had been “wiped out” in the collision.
