THE Caerleon Festival comes to an end today with music, dancing and sculpturing around the village.
The Hanbury quayside, the Festival Field and The Bell Inn have all been used by performers, while a sculpture, arts and crafts fair was held in the Festival Field today and yesterday.
Some of the performers have included the Newport Gwent Dragons choir, a Middle Eastern dance group, Jawahir, Celtic band Peel Your Own Spuds and Russell Jones, who performed in Only Boys Aloud when they reached Britain’s Got Talent’s final two years ago.
Other events will be held by the festival organisers later this year at Llanhennock Hall.
Robin and Bina Williamson will perform there in September, while Richard Digance and John James appear on different dates in October.
Fake Thakery, a comedian and musician, will be there on November 22 and Stefan Grossman, an acoustic guitarist and singer, will play next spring.
